The first and last Le Brea Tar Pits Triathlon.
I’ve got a sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach about this….
La Brea means “The Tar Pits”, so La Brea Tar Pits has some redundancy going on.
So who on the planning committee for this race had a grudge against one or more competitors?
It became a sticky situation.
This was just as successful as the Quicksand 500.
They had to move the banner back so they would at least make it past the starting line.
