    No way. Back in the 70’s, concert tickets were very reasonably priced.

    It’s now that you have to sell a kidney to see a second or third-rate artist in concert.

    When hand-held mobile phones were just beginning to be available, my brother and his friends figured how to beat the concert ticket system. While standing in line to get tickets for an upcoming concert, they were calling the ticket office. When they couldn’t get through, they started calling ticket outlets in other cities. Before the line even started moving, they had their tickets for the local venue, via an outlet in South Dakota.
