Katy.. you have to realize the elves are unionized now. Two elves would require a supervisor, then the shovel would need shipping attendants and packing personnel.. which in turn would require more supervisors. Now you have lots of supervisors.. and they will need a foreman/forewoman. See where this is going Katy, the logistics are insurmountable cause now you need separate bathrooms.
Ha! I practically called it yesterday!!! (Of course, this WAS just as predictable as Old Ladies In Outrageously Ridiculous Hats at Curtis’ church on Easter!)
I have a pony. Actually, technically he isn’t my pony. He lives in NY with my niece’s horses, and they take care of him. She rescued him when the owner was planning on sending him to the dog chow factory. But I hove the little guy and visit him when I can.

If you wanted a pony maybe you should have resisted opening your presents in the middle of the night

Kids! Santa will not bring a pony to a family who cannot house, feed nor afford to care for it properly. That would be unfair to the pony!.
There’s your alibi, folks. Make good use of it next year. ;-)

The elves and shovel leave with Santa. It shifts to you and your shovel for the lifespan of the horse.

The elves’ contract specifically states hat shovel duty may only involve reindeer.

Katy could convince Adam to buy one and put it on a credit card, but then he’d have to pony up the payment .

Maybe there were no ponies who wanted a home in the suburbs this year.
