Right now it is 9 degrees, the forecast is is a mix of clouds and sun this morning, more clouds in the afternoon, high 12. I don’t know if I can stand the heat. (^.^)
The storm has past, mostly rain during the day then the temperature dropped down below freezing. VTrans is good at keeping the roads passable in the winter and Albany’s road crew keep our town roads well powed and sanded.
I will need to get out to Irasburg to pick up the meat for Christmas dinner. I know the Polar Bear will get me there and back.
May you all have a happy and holy Christmas Eve with God great blessings.
We’re looking for 65 today and 67 tomorrow! It’s 59 at the moment but should reach the forecast. Our peak temps hit around 3 or 4 o’clock.
I’ve got all my shopping done, so I don’t plan to go anywhere today until time for church at 6. I will make the raw cranberry relish this morning so it’s good for tomorrow. I made more chex mix last night, only the second batch this year! This should last us well in to January if I don’t give some away.
For the last couple of years I’ve been buying peppermint bark that comes in an approximately 9×5×2 metal tin with a hinged cover. I have several of them now and am trying to figure out a craft that could be done with them. Any ideas?
Everyone have a blessed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. As Tiny Tim said: “God Bless Us, Everyone!”
Nice a warm here, 8 degrees upon my first look. Cloudy skyes today with snow showers this afternoon, a high of 19 is expected.
Well, I’m sitting here TV on, the program is “Holiday in New England”. Even the Channel 3 new team gets the day off.
Nephew Andy is preparing the Christmas dinner, a stuffed pork loin, twice baked potato, hum, I don’t know what’s for the veggie, the Golden Glow, also served at Christmas. Pie for desert, Pumpkin and Peacan. Yummy. (^.^)
A Holy and Merry Christmas to you Vagabonds, may God bless every one of your twelve days of Christmas and beyond.
Merry Christmas Vagabonds. May your day be blessed.
Church this morning, followed by our celebration with Mike. I’m making 2 pies today, pumpkin and blackberry. My mom started the Christmas blackberry pie tradition many years ago and we try to keep it up. Other than the pies, I don’t have a whole lot of cooking to do. The ham is already cooked, so all I need to do is warm it up. That way I get to enjoy the day with my guys.
