Anyone who thinks cats shed a lot has never owned a golden retriever. Especially as the dog is about five times bigger than a cat, so it sheds five times as much.

Inthe early days of computing (think CP/M and 8080 chips), my PC stopped working. Took it into repair and the technician took one look inside and said “Do you have a cat?” The cat liked to sleep on the computer because it was the warmest place in the house.

…. and that’s it hanging on the shed….

this is why I shave my cat at least twice a year. it really helps but he has to sleep on the heater vent after a treatment.

If you expect your cat to not lose any hair, you might be shed out of luck.
