They’re was a genie story I once read where the reverse of the wishes were granted. So the man wished for 1. to be ugly, 2. to be poor as a beggar, and 3. for death. So he had looks, wealth and immortality, but longed for power. He wanted to be a genie, and he was—in the bottle, while the genie took his place. You see, this particular lamp granted four wishes.
