The chickadee—one of the birds named for its call. What other ones are there? The whippoorwill? Crows aren’t called “caws,” so not them. Warbler is more of a description, and mockingbird is hardly onomatopoeic.
It gets to be annoying. And it doesn’t have a good snooze setting – it’s hard to get it to stop once it goes off.
His fur is standing on edge!
