It’s was a 35 degree morning at my rise time. Cloudy morning, drizzely afternoon and the high is going all the way up to 39. (^.^)
Well, last night I had two full plates of goodies at the buffet. Eats ranging from teriyaki chicken to baked salmon, a couple of Vietnamese spring rolls, even some General Tso chicken. I know how a turkey fells just before it hits the oven. (^.^)
I’ve been up and about around the community this morning. I had to go unlock the pool enclosure so I took the opportunity to walk over and see the progress on the first building to be painted. It looks great. They’ve done all of the base color and the eaves. They are starting on the trim this morning and the contrast looks terrific.
I had to laugh, though. One guy came up to the painters and told them that having the darker trim was his idea and he had told us to do it that way. There are only two men who have contacted the board at all about the paint. One of them hates the grey completely and the other one is a board member who said he would leave the choice to the rest of us. Oh well, if this guy wants to take credit, let him. No harm, no foul.
We’ve got a cloudy day today. Grey all the way across my window instead of the vivid demarcation I had yesterday. We’re at 48 at the moment and heading up to 52.
Well it was a cold 36 first thing this morning with gray skies. The clouds have now gone their Merry way and the sun came out about 2 hours ago. It has now warmed up to 45 which is our high for today.
We made our weekly trip to Walmart this morning. I did my best to stick to my list and skip the impulse buying, but some weeks it is difficult to do. Truthfully I really don’t need the impulse stuff and need to purge some stuff right on out the door. :-)
