Every day is the beginning of a new year by someone’s count. There are numerous broad cultural reckonings for the turning of a year, but also more personal markers like birthdays and anniversaries.
I make resolutions about things that will improve my life in a meaningful way, and take stock every week (or sometimes every morning!). Each week, or each morning, is a chance to start over again if I need to… or to continue doing well!

Time actually is a construct. Because what humanity has been measuring all 10000 years worth wasn’t really time.
Even if it’s an atomic clock, which also only works based on oscilation of some kind of matter.
All matter’s behavior is affected by plethora of different forces.
Which causes the relativity theory quake in its foundation.
