Firing a person in a larger company involves an onerous amount of detailed documentation, all in addition to trying to do your regular job. It’s why so many of us just encourage & convince the employee to look for an interdepartmental transfer. (basically pawn them off on some other unsuspecting manager)
Trouble is way too many managers take the easy way out I.e. ignore the problem.And too many workers are part of the all rights no responsibility it’s all about me group
