Catching the dog on the couch is kind of like seeing “a” mouse in the house… you know there are way more in hiding!… Same goes for catching the dog on the couch… if you see him there once, you can bet he is there all the time when you are out… so get over it! My dog would always be on the couch when we were out, and if just I came in, she would stay there, but if my husband came in, she would jump off ! I had no problem with it! If I knew he was following me in… I would say “Daddy’s coming” and she would get off!
