How do ban Latinos from the United States when parts thereof were of a historic territory colonized by Spain (Texas, California, Colorado, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, Florida)?

97% of Latinos do not like the Latinx label.

Their language is a beautiful thing. It uses sex and marital status as a descriptor in many words. But the Dems demand they define how others speak.

Easy: we stole it from them after they stole it from the indians-who weren’t from India.

I’m a Puerto Rican that was born in New Jersey. I lived in Puerto Rico for 3 years and learned about atrocities committed by the Spaniards and then the Americans. Since it seems that the majority of the Republicans are reluctant to admit Puerto Rico as a state, because of the erroneous thinking that the majority would vote Democrat. It makes sense for it to become an independent nation. The first thing to achieve a national identity is to restore the indigenous name of Borinken. The Spaniards understood as Borinquen. Christopher Columbus landed ashore on his 2nd voyage in 1493 and named the island San Juan Bautista or St John the Baptist. As the Spaniards looted the island of gold with forced labor of the indigenous population, the name was interchanged by the sailors of the port city of Puerto Rico meaning Rich Port. So I don’t like the label of Latinx.

Ah, the party of “small government” can’t wait to ban things. Next, I’m sure she’ll jump on the DeathSentence bandwagon and start banning books and school courses.

There was a department of a liberal college that got publicity for banning the world “field” from all official documents … because slaves worked in “fields”, so it must be racist.

My ancestors were white sharecroppers. Everybody worked in fields, so it must be stupid.

I suppose they will have to change the name of all the cities that have Spanish names. Like San Antonio.

possibly the dumbest thing we’ve heard yet from a guy that specializes in stone stoopid. but he was surprisingly on the mark regarding “latinx…”
