At this point I’d consider closing the refrigerator door. And maybe welding it shut?

Looks like a sponge mop in P-1. In P-3 like a regular mop, but I guess the sponge part is melting and dripping away.

Something similar used to grow in the steam table water at a fast food restaurant where I worked. Kind of like a scoby!
