If he makes lawyers look good then perhaps he could do community service as a bad example.

Look at that lawyer on trial (Murdaugh)…THAT is a showman, he knows how to play it

In gratitude (and so we can fully appreciate what he has done for us), I sentence him to serve the maximum time with no chance for parole.

Looks like good political material.

Here, he’d be freed on a personal recognizance bond to give the public another lesson on how it’s done.

Rational by a politician…

My family motto: “If you can’t be a good example, then be a horrible warning.”

This is not how it works. Unfortunately, all too many people believe it does. “Those people over there are committing what I think is a terrible sin! So in comparison my many sins are expunged.”

Demonstrating once again that lawyers can rationalize ANYTHING!

I like to be in the company of uglier people than me (It’s difficult to find such people), so I can appear somewhat handsome by comparison
