My ex got a degree too and she is driving for Uber Eats and Door Dash.

I never got a degree. I worked in the marketing department for 35 years. I used common sense when planning ad campaigns.

There are a lot of that going around.

Driving for GrubHub is a job that puts food on the table.

A college degree can be useful if you truly use it…If you don’t use it, it’s an expensive piece of sheep skin that’s framed and hangs on the wall next to a beer poster and a faded photo of you during spring break…

You gotta be prepared for when things get better. When I got my BS, engineers were driving cabs and delivering pizzas. I got a job as a programmer, cuz I put on a resume that one of my hobbies was programming my own computer – which was uncommon then.

I don’t suppose there is a pun here on Grub Street, center of the lowest echelons of journalism in 17th and 18th century London?

Will he be writing restaurant reviews?

Should give you plenty of time and no excuse to not Intern at a news service or freelance news stories….

He can write a story about his experiences with them.

I trust my Grubhub driver more than I trust most journalists.
