She doesn’t think much of the bass player.

Cliff Burton, Metallica’s bassist, who died tragically in a bus accident, could play a bass solo that you’d want to listen to again and again.

The Bass is very much needed to complete the harmonic progression of almost all music, but as I was thinking sometime during this past week, not so much when it comes to solos.

Personally, I’d rather listen to a good bass solo than the vast majority of drum solos.

I take it this guy is no John Entwistle.

Same goes for drum solos.

When the drums go silent it’s the signal to go catch a smoke…

Personally, I think the bass solo was invented when the rest of band quit unexpectedly. :)
