    Cliff Burton, Metallica’s bassist, who died tragically in a bus accident, could play a bass solo that you’d want to listen to again and again.

    The Bass is very much needed to complete the harmonic progression of almost all music, but as I was thinking sometime during this past week, not so much when it comes to solos.

    Personally, I’d rather listen to a good bass solo than the vast majority of drum solos.
