Rover is a bargaining genius!

The apple is the only thing worth nutritional value, lol! But they still taste good! It was with great sadness to learn that bologna is bad for me.

I’ll let you sniff my favorite hydrant.

Ah the things that go on early in the morning @ the school bus stop. We did all kinds of hilarious stunts. Thank God the high school kids got picked up way earlier. Not so kind to us.

Juice boxes didn’t become common in the US until the 1980s?

The wax(ed) paper was a bonus. I found that sitting on it a few times down the playground slide, made me approach escape velocity. Seriously!

Now I want a bologna sandwich for lunch. Sigh.

Hmmm…… The Wikipedia article on juice boxes indicates they were not introduced into the US market until 1980.

I recently tried to buy some wax paper sandwich bags in my continuing effort to reduce plastic in my home. I couldn’t find them. I can look other places, but I was kind of surprised. There were no plastic bags for lunches when I started school, and we managed just fine.

Ummm I don’t think so, Rover! How about an extra treat today?
