The (original) Mickey Mouse Club was my entertainment of choice as a kid – dreamt of being a Mouseketeer so mom enrolled me in tap and ballet classes. Trouble is, I had such an awesome lack of talent, the teacher called her and politely asked her to pull me out of class before their big recital. Also the nuns at my Catholic School didn’t want me to sing the hymns so loudly ‘cause I was throwing everyone’s pitch off …Scarred me for life!!
