The film did receive critical acclaim especially for special effects. According to Wikipedia, the Motion Picture Academy refuse to nominate the effects because, at the time, use of computers was considered “cheating”. Yep.

Never did like either movie. If there was the character “Tron”, there should have also been the character “Troff”. :D :D :D
