    I remember mortgage rates in the ’80s and early ’90s. Those were high.

    Mortgage rates have gotten so high they’re all the way up to the rate I had for my first house in the 1990s, which was considered good.

    What I’m trying to say is that mortgage rates were very low for a long time. What we have now is only high in comparison.
