Beaver and syrup. Now that’s worth fighting for.

EB must have triggered a butterfly effect on climate change, where the maple trees were forced from the cold, snowy Ohio climate (and forest belt from Cleveland to Toledo)… all the way to New England.

There aren’t enough loonies in all of canadia to make me believe that.

It’s funny how this comic, which started out as “Robotman”, slowly, over the decades since it changed, went fully circle and became the same sort of strip it started as…

Close to the line, there…but not quite over.

Nothing like shootin up a wagon full of syrup barrels, that’s when they started calling muskets “Ozzies”. Batta Boom!

The front cover had to be bigger than the back to fit that title on it. A common problem when designing covers. That’s why they like those two worders. The spine is an even bigger problem.

Why would anyone go to war over maple syrup from Ohio (if there even is such a thing)? Now, Vermont Maple Syrup (I spell it with capitals deliberately) on the other hand……

The war would have been small but significant for Ohio.
