I once commented to a boss that a figure in a vintage print over my desk looked like Isaac Asimov.I could see in seconds that she’d never heard of him. I tried—in vain—-to explain that he was possibly the most prolific American author of all time, and that he wrote on subjects from physics to Shakespeare (and lots of sci-fi in between).She simply huffed a and said , “He can’t be that famous. I never heard of him”.
