It can’t be a real sport because I don’t care about it

If the roles were reversed, you know Joe would be arguing that it is a real sport!

I don’t know what pickleball is, but when I was a kid cornhole was something that would cause God to rain fire down on your city.

Is Pickleball anything like Calvinball?

Why not? Isn’t any game where the competition is physical considered a sport?

I understand it is getting big, though I have never played or watched it. There was a proposal to turn the tennis courts in my townhouse complex into pickleball courts.

This Pickleball craze has got to stop.

I once commented to a boss that a figure in a vintage print over my desk looked like Isaac Asimov.I could see in seconds that she’d never heard of him. I tried—in vain—-to explain that he was possibly the most prolific American author of all time, and that he wrote on subjects from physics to Shakespeare (and lots of sci-fi in between).She simply huffed a and said , “He can’t be that famous. I never heard of him”.

I honestly had no clue pickleball was a thing until I learned one of my college professors played it

Don’t knock it till you’re tried it. Lots of fun!

ESPN does have a lot of extra time on their hands, what with all their ignoring of the NHL.

I can’t respect a sport named pickle or a pox named monkey
