Inside noises can get you

When we are out front, our dogs will ignore other dogs passing by. But, when we come inside, they will immediately jump into the bay window and start barking hysterically at them.

Inside noises can be much spookier.

That’s explains why Sophie requires a nightlight. Yip yip yip yip yip

Be weary of things the go thump in the night.

Sophie is a watchdog, if burglars break in, she’ll watch them.

Our dackels sternly warned off any other dog that dared walk on our sidewalk – or the one across the street – but any who actually came into our backyard were at worst ignored.
