Lucky psychiatrist. (Almost reminds me of the movie What About Bob? with Jack Nicholson as Bill Murray’s psychiatrist.)

In German the word for money is gelt (Old German) which sounds nearly the same as guilt. So gelt trips explains clearly where psychiatrists get all their money from.

I’m sure your psychiatrist felt a little guilty on their vacation!

Ziggy has a good point. In my experience, the only good a visit to a psychiatrist will do is pay for his vacation (or yacht, or whatever else he needs money for).

Ziggy always packed his emotional baggage for every guilt trip.

Counseling- the ability to pay somebody for information you already know but are to arrogant to admit. They only manipulate you to get you to the point of admitting the problem. Then they list you as cured but still keep you around in case anything else surfaces, plus by then you are so comfortable talking with them that you feel a kinship.Lets rationalize this, you walk in and you talk about your anxieties and your life experiences. Then they ask you for your feelings in regards to this and then what you feel caused all of this, then they hand you a bill anywhere from $50- $100! Never let them admit you..

If psychiatry worked, why do people have to see their shrinks for decades (sometimes)?

Possibly a few priests as well. :)

OK Ziggy, fess up, just how can you afford to live, are you blackmailing someone, or have you inherited a fortune?…

Besides, every time you take a guilt trip, they lose your baggage.
