The only thing I knew my dad was scared of was heights. But that led to one of my favorite childhood memories, going to an amusement park and riding the Ferris Wheel with mom.

My dad was afraid of crawfish. Don’t ask. I don’t know why.

Kids know the pulse of the parents, particularly the painy ones.

Sounds about right. I’ve been amazed at how men scream at the sight of spiders and snakes, but not roaches and mice.

Little Eddie is probably about Pasquale’s age, though that was 75 years ago.
