Oh yes he is better equipped – waders, stick. Very little chance of an an unexpected bath. You on the other hand…. ’Nuff said.

Does Mr. Dear really want Fred to be shaking all that water all over him when the dog is done? I think not! Far better to fetch it himself.

And the stick is so Mr. Dear wont get any water down his boots when he strays from the shallow end…
