Curiosity once got the better of me. I answered an add in a comic book that offered to teach me how to make money stuffing envelopes – I forget the actual pitch (over 40 years ago – I was maybe 16 or 17). I knew it was a scam, but I wanted to see what the scam was.So I sent in the 20 bucks and about a week and a half later I get a pamphlet in the mail telling me how to construct an add to get folks to send me money – and a long list of the best publications in which to place such adds.

There is a politician in the UK called Grant Schapps (although he also has had a lot of other aliases in the past) who essentially ran a pyramid scheme which was “how to get rich, sell this book on how to get rich and you will get rich”.

I don’t take financial advice from some guy who has to tour the country, staying in different hotels, rarely seeing his home or family, while promoting his get-rich-quick scheme and has been doing so for years.

This is not an MLM, pyramid scheme, or get rich quick scheme!
