Aw, Missus D. Don’t be such a stick in the mud….

It seems too cold to hose Fred down. The Dears need a hot water connection outside and a big old towel to dry Fred before he enters the house clean and happy.

Poor Fred. He has to listen to Mr Dear being told off before Mrs Dear gets around to him.

I’m sure they’re aware that Fred doesn’t know any better. He was just following orders.

Ya can’t blame the dog for going where his owner lets him go. And we all know what happens to low-slung dogs in the mud…

After almost 60 years we now know who caused all the mudding of the home carpet! And I’ll bet he is the one who grabs the sausages left on the table! MR. DEAR!

Quick Fred – go roll in the grass to get rid of some of that mud!

You’re next on the list, Fred, so don’t get too ‘cocky’ (even though you are a Basset Hound) ! ! ! !

Oh no, I hear the garden hose being rolled out!
