I actually forgot that this was a story Marigold was telling to Phoebe, and I had to go back to the first comic in this arc to check.

I forsee future Marigold giving her eyepatch to present Marigold, and then becoming the Marigold telling this story while the one who now has the eyepatch going through a portal to become the new future Marigold.

Will the universe cope with three Marigolds?
