I can’t even imagine cars flying. Look at all the cars on the roads today. How would flying cars possibly be regulated and kept from flying into each other. We can’t keep that from happening on the ground.
That’s the philosophy I inherited from my Dad, drive it til it drops. My Hyundai Santa Fe is twenty years old. It’s on that fine line where dumping money into it just isn’t worth it. But the alternative of buying a new car is out of the question, and buying a used car is a crap shoot, often turning into a money pit you just got out of. Since retirement I don’t drive very much so I think I can milk for a while longer.
Had a car I prayed would make the lasst two blcoks to the dealership. Left with a ‘new’ car that was great. Loved it. Missed the old one, but it had long outlived its usefulness.

I like the last point of view. Will do it more often.

I think flying cars have been coming for a while now. I suspect they won’t be here by the time the kid is fixing a car for their own kid.

I have to deal with bad drivers, on the ground. Now, imagine them in the sky!

You know what they say about flying cars? The same thing they say about an oxygen-free lifestyle: don’t hold your breath.

I bought a Jetson Electric assist bike last week. It runs pretty good but it doesn’t fly.
