You know what that thing in the 3rd panel looks like, dontcha?
I still remember a MAD magazine article on tropical fish that mentioned a clam that could be in fish tanks that, when it opened up, it released a pretty bubble and when it closed it decapitated your most expensive fish.
Guess it could’ve been a piranha.
That’s claws for alarm.
