It ssem that Garfield is ‘prone’ to self-examination.

I wonder if we are going to be seeing the usual run-up to Garfield’s Birthday on Monday…

I don’t know man, last night I had a dream where I was catching a flight to the Ukraine to fight in the foreign legion. That was a pretty daunting dream and I was happy to be awakened by my Garfield alarm clock and being served coco puffs in bed by the Mrs.

The easy solution is to close your eyes again.

Better than the alternative.

May be awake, at least you’re still laying down. Better that then dead.

Being awake is bad. Being awake on a Monday is the worst.

Lasagna! That will make it worthwhile.

That’s what I think when I’m sleeping and my subconscious tells me it’s time to get up

I don’t know about you all, but I’m about done with my Monday.

I said something similar, in private to myself, during a bout of serious depression. I was under investigation after a pharmacy tech was caught stealing from my department. I was sad to be betrayed by a work acquaintance.
