Or skip the 1st 18 holes, and just go to the bar. She’d save all that wear and tear on the shoe-leather, the financial outlay for the lost balls, and the having to put up with the irate hordes behind her. Broomie would be happier, and so would everyone else.

So—instead of the sand trap, Broomie’s golf balls will get stuck in mudholes.

BTW, why is G@ylord standing bareheaded in that downpour??

The bags are going to fill up with water. Maybe they should turn them upside down.

If they can stand the rain, more power to them…

Red faced, furious intoxicated golfers is another reason I don’t play. That and the fact I can’t play the game because I’m better off sticking to miniature golf…

well, as they say “fools never catch a cold, anyway” so…WHY NOT?

Don’t be so sure, some golfers are pretty fanatical about it, and they’re usually the red-faced furious golfers.

The main problem is, with the exception of amateurs playing, that a lot of executives close a lot of business deals while playing golf.

But Watch Out for those Lightening strikes…

Only problem might be rivulets of heavy rain wash you ball into a large body of water. Talk about a high degree of difficulty!

I am not a golf person. I wouldn’t dream of golfing in good weather, much less in a pouring rainstorm! I understand Broomie’s desire to avoid being rushed by mob behind her, but a rainstorm isn’t the solution.

Be happier, Broomie dearest: give up golf altogether!

I once golfed a full course in a light rain and mist. I was the only one on the course and I loved it. It was also my best score ever.
