Correct me if I’m wrong, but wasn’t there only one instance of an infielder doing this during a game this season, and he actually threw the runner out by a step?
Are we just leaving last week’s argument hanging from the cliff edge?
and then he throws the ball over the first baseman’s head, a la Steve Sax
Loved the video of the college runner jumping over the pitcher picking up the ball to get to first safely.
