Some would say it’s always been a part of sports, at least at the HS and college levels: after coaches and supporters got involved with grade fixing, the intelligence of many was suddenly artificially boosted.
It will get really interesting if AI starts making pitch selection. Especially if the batter also has an AI telling him what pitch to expect.
