The concept of this one seems rather reminiscent of that “Great Wall of China” TV Ad (Father responding to son in car: “It was to keep the rabbits out”) for Telstra Bigpond which aired here in Australia many years ago! ;)
Uncle Bazza was right. The flight caps (rather than helmets) kept the pilots from getting cold (and going deaf) while flying with their cockpit canopies open. Thanks for the history lesson, Jason.

Reminds me of that famous WWII kamikaze pilot: “Chicken” Teriyaki. He flew 47 missions. Kept coming back.
