I have a question for everybody. What’s the difference between a cat and a frog? A cat has nine lives but a frog croaks every night. I thought I’d give you a chuckle—at least I hope I did. :-)

Dandelions are nice to look at, though they can be … memorable … with their, uh, offshoots.

I’ve heard that planting them around the outside of your garden will deter rabbits.

I have an allotment from the city where I grow various vegetables. There’s an Asian couple with an allotment close by that grows dandelions.

I remember so well the old Italian grannies in black walking thru our prairies (vacant lots, Chicago) picking something, never knew……dandelions?

Young dandelion greens are great in salads.
