Comb overs are unnatural. I’m ancient and started going bald when I was 18,

I know a New York “business person” who could not tolerate the pain to have his balding cared for, and is now known for his terrible comb-over and dye job.

As far as I can tell, Pett has it exactly backward, but though I get his joke, I think it’s not funny. The ordinances are mostly to the effect that one person may not be treated differently than another based on “natural” hair style. Aimed mostly at allowing afros, dreads etc but presumably allowing Sikh practices and (alas) comb-overs.

I’d like to say I’m shocked that any government would try to ban natural hair styles, but of course we’re dealing with the GOP here.

“Natural hair ordinance”? This referring to anything in particular?
