Cathy: There are four different "cookie diets" I want to try. I can't commit to one until I taste the cookies from each one. Do NOT turn these into cookie fat, body! I'm NOT eating cookies! I'm testing meal-replacement weight-loss products!! In life, no free ride. In dieting, no free samples.

Bye bye Cathy, you are too boring and hopeless :(

Or, she just doesn’t appeal to your humor. Some of us still enjoy the comic, and would like the negative people to stop complaining. Isn’t the world negative enough?

The humor of this strip is usually lost on males. So, if you don’t like it, skip it, but let those of us who understand and relate to the humor enjoy it.

Actually, for me, it’s just that the strip was funnier when Cathy was still single. Having her get married pretty much ruined the whole strip.

I don’t know if it was when she got married but I agree Cathy was a lot funnier and more interesting in the beginning. Now it’s all about obsessing about weight, food, and clothes.

Doc I agree with you, Like momma used to say, if you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say anything.

Exactly. With the possible exception of Pibgorn, these strips (the ones that I follow anyway) are meant for humor and entertainment, not for any deep meaning.
If you don’t like it, don’t read it, but also don’t comment.
I’m rather tired of people trying to make things made for mere entertainment into things that should be deep and meaningful.
Laugh if it humors you, and if it doesn’t, just pass on by.
