Actually, it’s kind of scary. Me and my MIL are much alike. (In personality, not looks. I could never be as hot as Barb.) Except when it comes to raising children, we’re into a lot of the same stuff.

That theory might be true in some cases, but not in mine. My husband said he picked me because I am NOT like his mom. Made for some rough years, because she kept trying to make me into another her, until our counselor convinced my hubby to tell her to back off from interfering. Sounds like Irving needs to tell his mom to back off as well.
