Stella: “Pain?”
Sophie: “No! It means no pain! (Unless you’re going to the vet, or Dad’s driving the car.) But that has nothing to do with whether you choose to listen to them on your way to the unprotected treats on the kitchen counter.”
There’s trust, and then there’s trust.
I trust you, but I don’t Trust you. If you don’t know the difference, I don’t trust you.
It will tough when Stella gets a new owner. I wish mom and dad could keep her but foster plans are not forever ownership.
I question the meaning of the word in the phrase “Trust but verify.”
Being a rescue mentor sure brings out the good side of Sophie.
