It’s more fun to make up your own rules.

Ehh, it’s a toss up.

Dog is so wrong on this one, cute but wrong.

Not really. I have played hours of Monopoly and I still don’t know the rules. Same goes for Risk.

Eh, depends on the game. Some are more fun when you’re “loose” with the rules, but others I’ve found are more fun (and often times more fair) played by the intended rules.

Sometimes they’re more fun, sometimes they’re not.

Following the rules just the game more tedious.

Candyland boards do not contain real candy.

My cousin Danny Joe loading the chess pieces into his toy truck when his brother John and I were trying to play comes to mind.

We made up rules for all games as we went along. Seems the manufacturer’s tech writers were not very creative.
