and yet, that car is probably driving better than most of the elderly drivers on the road right now. it probably won’t mistake the gas pedal for the brake and smash into a convenience store, for example, or turn on the turn indicator, slow down, and try to turn into my driveway, and me waiting to turn onto the highway, as a little old lady who lives nearby did yesterday. to give her a little credit, she did eventually realize her mistake as she started to turn, bowed at me in embarassment, and continued down the highway, turn indicator still flashing for another block and a half, until she reached the road where she actually wanted to turn…
