Irving: Forget other clothes. I'll just grab some jeans. Cathy: Aren't you going to try them on? Irving: Men don't "try on"! Cathy: You just buy and then return them if they don't work? Irving: Men don't "return"! All that time you waste trying on and returning, we use doing something productive! WE SUE!

You should NEVER buy without trying on first!

Exactly! But Irving must always learn the simplest things the hard way.

muhahahaha!! Cathy must be so thrilled he’s learning what we go through!!! The evil clothes makers finally attack mens clothing.

Love the look on Irving’s face! Have to wonder how he zipped them up! I saw a photo in the newspaper yesterday, it seems they are trying to get men to wear tube tops now….. Can you just see Irving in one of those to go along with his “skinny jeans”!?

See guys!! There IS a reason we women try on clothes even if the tag says its in our size.

I know what size clothes I wear. If something is labeled as my size and doesn’t fit I return it and never buy anything from that company again. It’s good to be a man.

I don’t know what kind of jeans he’s buying. My hubs knows his size and buys carpenter’s jeans. That’s it.

He might have bought the wrong style- and some men do gain weight when they get married and have Mom move in- the 2 together could make a difference, especially if his work pants are stretchy-side loose slacks that don’t show weight gain.
I hate trying on clothes. I hate returning them.

It looks like Irving really has piled on the weight since getting married. I didn’t know his belly was that big.

My entire shopping experience is tempered by the fact that I ALREADY have stores and brand names I am comfortable with, so when I go pick up a shirt or a pair of Dockers, I KNOW they’ll fit. (Because I’ve already done the return thing)

I’ll say it again! Costco is a man’s paradise. You CAN”T try things on. And they don’t mind returning them ‘cause there’s always something else they want there.

Size labels lie. I bought a pair of pants that was a little too big for me and at the same store tried on a pair of pants that was labeled as 1 size bigger than the pants that were too big. And the “bigger” label pants were too small!

When did Irving get so fat?
jcc21 about 15 years ago
Irving and Cathy are both losers. All a guy has to do is measure his waist, then go online and use that measurement because men’s pants are sold by waist size. You do have to be honest about it though……

Howcum if I buy something that doesn’t fit or work, the bill magically vanishes every time, so I’m stuck with it?!!

My family used to force me to try things on. I needed some pants from a thrift store once and they didn’t have a dressing room. I was sure they would fit but my grandmother wanted me to try them on. She actually made me stand in an empty, obscure aisle and quickly try the pants on while she stood guard at the end
