You don’t need to “pluck” a golden retriever to get dog hair. Just brush it’s back a few time and the fur will be flying.
Same with Shelties.
Visit a local barber shop or beauty shop and ask for the sweepings. Works better than pet hair.
Seriously, you do not need to pluck hairs from your dog. They will leave them around anyway.
It would be much kinder to get some from your local groomer.
