I’m surprised Ralph didn’t leave the ship and tried the foods in the ports the ship docked at.

I stand by what I said yesterday: Our boy Ralph emptied his wallet where the food was and he’s done nothing to show otherwise. Not that I blame him, of (full) course…

As you can tell by my pic, I love to cruise! I’ve seen many people on ships who took the buffet as a challenge and they were determined to get their money’s worth….

As for many ports being tourist traps without historical, cultural or architectural interest, they all have tourist shops, but the vast majority of them have something of interest there.

On my cruises, I went to the library, the casino, the pool, the hot tub, afternoon tea, trivia games, shows, and of course, the bufetts.

Some ports are now banning cruise ships from docking as the crowds swarm ashore like a mass of locusts, ruin the place, spend almost nothing and then return to the ship. As far as the site is concerned, the gain nothing at all from them.Santorini is one such port.

You’d think the kids would already KNOW where the cruise was going before their parents left.

It’s important to have your priorities straight.
