Hey Mike! Did somebody get upset with the strips you originally had for this week?
In case somebody missed it:
The Monday and Tuesday strips were about Mike having a date with a sexually ambiguous character. Something along the lines of the “Pat” character on SNL. They even made a movie about it called “It’s Pat: The Movie”.
Perhaps somebody became upset and it got pulled. I couldn’t see anything wrong with it. Maybe the later strips were offensive. We may never know.
For the best science fiction movie with parkour chase scenes: “District 13”. Warning, they talk philosophy when they stop to catch their breath. (It’s a French thing.)
GoComics decided to censor Lester’s original strips, but they can still be read at Arcamax. For today’s strip, see: https://www.arcamax.com/thefunnies/mikedujour/s-2832165

This comic is from 2020. It’s still good, though.
The Washington Post Kindle App is running the current comic for this week.

I don’t get the controversy, but the new cartoon is on Arcamax.

Parkour sounds like a great summer sport for the grandkids…as long as we don’t need to call an ambulance!

I write them. I draw them and I file them. After that the decisions to run them is out of my hands. -ML
