The saleswoman isn’t insane, how else will she sell these high-end (read high-priced) clothes to Cathy, if she doesn’t give her a non-reason to wear them?
Actually, I think there are two escapees employed as saleswomen . . . and if Cathy buys any of this ugly, expensive crap they’re trying to foist on her, then the insane asylum needs to come take her away too!
