Children are comforted by their parents – not by understanding them, but by trusting in their love and wise guidance. Likewise, children of the heavenly father are instructed to “trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take” (Proverbs 3:5, 6). The love and promised guidance of the all-knowing Creator is about as comforting as it gets.

Didn’t need or try to understand when young… Now as I approach the final chapter, I can’t be trusting those telling me what to believe..
