Cathy: Fine! I won't! My time is too valuable to spend ten hours trying to find one gift for $2.00 less! Hah! I am taking the helm!! Saleswoman: Do you want that? Cathy: Too expensive.

I agree with Cathy’s mom to a point. I think it’s important to buy quality merchandise at a good price. So maybe it is too expensive and maybe it is shoddy workmanship. That is one thing I am thankful that my mother taught me. But I also learned an insecurity about buying presents for others because she never seemed to like what we gave her. On a practical side, that means that I make a serious effort to buy gifts that the recipient would hopefully like. It also means that I try to show my appreciation for the gifts that I receive. Except for that one year that my husband bought a vacuum cleaner and I made sure that he knew that was only a gift if he used it. LOLWelcome back, Aaron and Billy! Glad you made it back safely. Good morning, Susan! I’m sorry to hear that you still have bad feelings from your mother. Sometimes it’s hard to work through those. why don’t they just go shopping at a dollar store? now that can’t be too expensive, can it?…then again it IS Cathy’s mom we’re talking about….lol…………………anyone miss me Saturday? worked 18 hours, then came home, slept for about 6 hours then got called in for Sunday bcuz another doc has the flu ( I was supposed to be off Sun and Mon)…….he’s at home,( not spreading the germs)…i’m off on monday…gonna sleep in……..
